Ozarks Genealogical Society, Springfield, Missouri, September 10-11

The Ozarks Genealogical Society will have its 30th annual conference, “Researching with a Southern Accent,” on Sept. 10-11 at the Clarion Hotel in Springfield, Mo. J. Mark Lowe, nationally known genealogical researcher and educator, will be the featured speaker. His lectures will focus on Southern research in the areas of Kentucky and Northern Carolina. He will also provide guidance for online research. The conference begins the evening of Sept. 10 and continues Sept. 11. In addition to sessions presented by J. Mark Lowe, there will be mini-sessions on a variety of genealogical topics for guiding beginners and seasoned researchers on their quest for knowledge.
